Silent Witness has an urgent need for corporate assistance.
The year 2009 saw numerous changes for the Silent Witness program. A new Program Coordinator, expanded media relations, and technological improvements all contributed to an amazingly successful year. For only the third time in 30 years, Silent Witness arrested over 200 felons, clearing 263 cases and recovering over half a million dollars in stolen property.
And this year is off to a rapid start as well, with the implementation of several initiatives including:
* State-of-the-art, tip software that allows anonymous web and text tips with dramatically improved crime solving capabilities.
* A revised, user-friendly website (along with utilization of social media) to drive communication between law enforcement, media and the community.
* An interactive membership program to help establish more consistent revenue while educating the public and encouraging community involvement.
As a result of these and other initiatives, Silent Witness expects to more than double the number of tips it receives and, therefore, significantly increase the number of rewards it pays.
As a corporate donor, you are in a position to help Silent Witness achieve its goals; Silent Witness can provide value to your organization, as well.
